Basic Dog Care

First of all

  • Your Dog primarily needs your love and company, he feels your slightest touch and understands what is behind it in your heart.

Housing

  • Prepare good housing and warm bedding for your dog at winter cold nights.
  • Take your dog for a walk twice daily for at least 10 minuets

Food and Water

  • Provide your dog plenty of fresh water all the time, specially in hot weather and during and after transportation in hot weather.
  • Give your dog a balanced diet meals (usually two or three meals a day).
  • Dogs are Omnivorous (like humans, eat all kinds of foods), they need the third of their diet proteins (boiled meat, fish, chicken liver, canned meat or fish , and two thirds rice or bread and some vegetables like carrots, potatos...etc).
  • Calcium sources (like cheese or soft cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt), and you may also use dried dog food after testing few amount first and be sure that it's safe for your dog.

Grooming

  • Your dog needs grooming when he smells bad and looks dirty, usually baths are every two to four weeks (more than that cause EXHAUSTION to your dogs skin). in cold weather bath your dog with warm water, away from air currents, and rap him with a clean warm towel and leave him indoors until dry.

Vaccinations

  • You should Start your dog's vaccination schedule at 2 months with a booster dose after 3 weeks and repeated annually.

Deworming

  • Treat your dog for worms regularly (every 4 months).

Regular Check Ups

  • Schedule regular check ups with your vet for early detection of potential threats.
